On arrival we secure the roof. That usually means properly fastened tarping over the damaged area, temporary sealing of open penetrations, and removal of debris or limbs that are still causing damage. We photograph everything before and after, which matters for your insurance claim.
Once the building is dry we schedule the permanent repair. Depending on the damage that could be a section of shingles, new decking and flashing, or a full replacement. We provide the documentation your insurer needs and will meet the adjuster on site when it helps.

- What should I do while I wait for you?
- Move furniture and valuables out of the way, put buckets under active drips, and avoid going on the roof yourself. If water is near a light fixture, shut that circuit off.
- Will emergency tarping damage my roof?
- Tarps have to be fastened to hold in Maine wind, so there will be fasteners. We place them where they are covered or repaired during the permanent work.
- Does insurance cover storm damage?
- Sudden storm damage is usually covered. We provide dated photos and a written scope so your claim has the documentation it needs.
